Gift Aid Declaration

The Gift Aid scheme enables charities to claim from the Inland Revenue the amount that has been paid in tax by donors on every £1 they donate to the charity. This means that, if you have an income (wage, salary, pension or investment income) on which you pay UK tax, you can boost your donations to your chosen charity by an extra 28% by simply declaring, on the Donation Form, that you wish your donation to be treated as Gift Aid.
